          "Hopefully dad's still asleep…" she thought to herself, picking up the empty plastic bag and standing up. She brushed down her pajama pants, patting away the bigger, more noticeable patches of dirt before walking back towards her house.

          A highlight of her nearly nightly ritual was being able to see her hometown in the light of the sunrise. The plain palette of tan, beige, and brown that the mining corporation in Oreburgh City had decided on when constructing the town of Silver Lake looked magical during this time. It didn't reflect the cheap and fast-paced construction design that the higher-ups of the corporation certainly wanted to hang on to. The town appeared as if it had been brought into existence centuries ago instead of the mere 15 years prior. Saraina had lived here all of her life, although she had been born at the nearby hospital in Oreburgh City back when her father still worked at the mine.
