Lisa had been speaking into her cellphone very animatedly, but she quickly scowled instead and stopped walking towards them, "Eh- Let me call you back in a bit, John."

She snapped her phone shut and shoved it into her blazer pocket. Saraina was about to crack a fake smile and try to go in for a small hug, but her mother's indignant angry energy caused her to recoil.

"I couldn't find a parking spot!! What did you expect me to do? Leave the car in the middle of the road?!" She exclaimed.

"If it meant not missing your daughter's graduation, then yes! You should've left it there!"

"How did I miss it?" She cried, looking down at her wristwatch crossly. "It's nine minutes before 2pm! Didn't you say it started at 2pm?"
