He walked over to the top of the staircase and looked down over the railing calling out, "I'll be down in a minute, Farfetch'd!"
He turned back to Saraina sighing happily, "We've both been waiting an entire year for this day! I still can't believe you waited. You could've been out on your own journey this whole time. Who knows how many pokemon you could've caught by now!"
Saraina gave a small nod, "Yes, but you know I promised Mariah that'd we set off together once we both graduated from pokemon trainer school. I can't help it that I'm a little older than her."
"Just a year," he shrugged. "But you're a great friend for waiting for her. What time is her graduation ceremony? Noon right? I gotta remember to bring the camera with me… where is that camera?"
He scratched his head looking around at nothing in particular.
"Let me know if you find it." Saraina said, beginning to walk towards her bedroom door, "If you don't, I'm sure Mariah's grandpa will bring his. After all, it's a big day for her! I'm going to go get ready. I'll be down for some breakfast in a few."
